About Our Events

The President’s Council hosts a salon of exclusive events throughout the year to keep members current on the important issues facing STEM. We invite a diverse array of speakers who are leaders in areas such as education, science, health, arts and engineering to explore topics that affect our world.

President’s Council Events for 2019-20

How might a science center help citizens around the world become the problem-solvers and leaders of tomorrow’s cities, enabling them to tackle the complex challenges that great cities are facing — from mitigating the impacts of climate change, to improving public health, and facilitating equitable education? At NYSCI, questions like this drive our work every day.

This year’s series will tie into a central theme of creating sustainable cities, an important issue that aligns with current initiatives at NYSCI.
